Dear Colleagues,
This year the 89th Annual Meeting will be held in Monterey, CA, the site of our 2008 meeting. The Portola Hotel will once again serve as our meeting venue and I recommend you book your room early as our group room block will sell-out quickly.
We are now accepting abstract submissions for the following topics: Bladder/Urethra, Calculi, Neurourology, Kidney, Pediatrics, Sexual Medicine, Incontinence/Pelvic Floor, Prostate, Testis, Ureter, How I Do it, History and Health Policy.
You may present your paper in one of the following formats: Podium or Poster, Poster Only, Round Table, Essay Contest, or DVD. We have improved our online submission process, making it easier and more streamlined.
For WSAUA Residents: Become a part of one of urology’s greatest traditions! We offer free meeting registration including social events, a $1700 value. Plus discounted registration for your spouse/guest. In addition, scholarship awards are given to defer travel costs to one resident per each training facility in the Western Section (to be selected by the program chief). The amount is $500 except when the meeting is in Hawaii in which case it is $1000. Are you interested in future leadership and/or health and public policy issues? If yes, the AACU and WSAUA have collaborated on a $2,000 travel award to the Joint advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. in March 2014. See details here.
For Physicians and Residents and Young Urologists:
Research Essay Awards, Health Policy Essay Award, History Essay Awards, Poster Session Awards, Trick of the Trade and Bizarre Case Awards.
Didactic learning from our experts: Our comprehensive Postgraduate Review & Examination Preparation Courses (PREP-C) will be offered to help you study for the In-Service Exam for re-certification and the Board Review Exam. Also, great for an overall urology didactical review.
